COPPIN STATE UNIVERSITY offers a multigenerational learning environment, nationally recognized for community engagement. Serving Baltimore residents as well as students from around the world, Coppin State proudly produces analytical, socially responsible, lifelong learners. An historically black institution founded in 1900, Coppin offers 32 undergraduate and 11 graduate degrees, along with nine certificate programs and a micro-credentialing badging program. Coppin’s most recent advanced academic offering is the Doctor of Nurse Practice (DNP) program, which continues the university’s long tradition of training dedicated and committed health care professionals.
