Regents' Technology Committee to Meet September 25 via Teleconference at
USM Office
The Technology Committee of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of
Regents will meet in public session via teleconference on Tuesday, September 25
at 10:30 a.m. The call will originate from the Chancellor's Conference Room in
the USM Office, 3300 Metzerott Road in Adelphi, MD.
The committee will consider several agenda items, including:
- Updated Information Technology (IT) Plan overview
- Report from William D. Leith, University of Maryland, College Park director of
student aid, on recent changes in federal financial aid rules as they apply to
eligible students' ability to purchase computers
- Report from USM Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance Joseph Vivona on
various IT issues, including access to computers and minimum technology
standards for students
