190.0 VII-2.20-POLICY ON SOLICITING PERSONNEL DURING WORKING HOURS
(Approved by the Board of Regents, February 28, 1992)
Employees of the University of Maryland System shall have an
undisturbed opportunity to perform assigned duties and
responsibilities. Solicitation of any UMS employee for any
purpose, except where such solicitation is a part of the assigned
duties and responsibilities or has been approved by the
Chancellor or designee for systemwide purposes or the Chief
Executive Officer or designee for institution purposes, is
prohibited.
IMPLEMENTATION PROCEDURES:
Each Chief Executive Officer shall develop procedures
as necessary and submit a copy to the Chancellor.
