Katrina J. Dennis is a Partner in the Baltimore office of the law firm Saul Ewing LLP. She has built a law practice focusing on a wide variety of complex commercial litigation, including matters concerning contractual disputes, consumer class actions, mortgage fraud, lender liability, construction, and products liability. As a Partner in the Labor and Employment practice group, Katrina has extensive experience with employment counseling and litigation. She represents employers in a broad range of employment matters and also represents higher education institutions in matters concerning Title IX, Title VII and other state and federal discrimination statutes.
Katrina sincerely believes that her professional success is the result of her being able to stand on the shoulders of giants. Without the guidance of mentors and sponsors, her life may look very different. She believes that it is, therefore, her personal responsibility to share the wisdom she has gained with young people in need of strong role models and mentors. Katrina's dedication to her community and the legal profession has been recognized on multiple occasions, including through awards such a being named a 2017 Distinguished Woman by the Girls Scouts of Central Maryland, a “Rising Star” in Maryland by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2013 to present, and being selected as a 2016 Fellow to the Legal Council on Legal Diversity. In 2015, Governor Larry Hogan appointed Katrina to the Appellate Courts Judicial Nominating Commission, and she was appointed by former Governor Martin O’Malley to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Transportation Authority. The Daily Record recognized Katrina as one of its Leading Women in 2013, and named her to the VIP List in 2014. Katrina is a member of the 2017 Class of the Greater Baltimore Committee LEADERship Program. Katrina serves on the Board of Governors of the Baltimore City Head Start program, and the executive committees of the Baltimore Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and the Omega Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Katrina is a cum laude graduate of the University Of Baltimore School Of Law, and she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
