USM Regents Committee on Finance Meets October 1

Adelphi, Md. (Sept. 25, 2009) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Finance at its next meeting will take action on the Towson University 2009 Facilities Master Plan update and hear a presentation of the Salisbury University 2009 Facilities Master Plan Update.

The public meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. October 1 in the 7^th floor open area of the Albin O. Kuhn Library at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

The Towson University 2009 Facilities Master Plan (FMP) builds upon the framework established in the 2003 FMP and addresses physical planning aspects associated with the university’s planned enrollment growth.

In other business, the committee will hold an informational review of University System of Maryland capital improvement projects.

Prior to the public meeting, the committee will convene in executive session.
